  Part of a responsible crop nutrient management system is knowing all the possible avenues nutrients may escape to. Greenhouse gas emissions are produced in many ways, so understanding what they are and possible means of reducing them is important.
• Agricultural Awareness of Climate Change
  The Climate Change Action Fund Agricultural Awareness Partnership aims to increase awareness of producers and the general public of greenhouse gas (GHG) issues and solutions (carbon sequestration, emission reductions) relative to the agri-food industry. This website is an excellent resource for reading up on how agricultural producers can play a key role in emission reduction and sequestration of GHGs.
• Soil Conservation
  For a look into fact sheets on global warming and beneficial management practices (BMPs), check out the Soil Conservation Council of Canada's website. Fact sheets cover carbon credits, and BMPs for cows and calves, and coarse and small grains.
